Practice Losing Farther, Losing Faster 4
Practice Losing Farther, Losing Faster 4, by Cath Duncan. 2024. Mixed media on paper.
Description
These strikingly minimalist and fresh abstract landscapes in this collection were each created using fewer than 5 strokes and only 2 colours and black. An exercise in practicing simplification and prioritisation, they are a reminder of the clarity, freedom, depth, and peace available to us when we choose to bravely and boldly commit to what matters most in life and let everything else go.
The title of the collection was inspired by Elizabeth Bishop’s poem, One Art.
