“Promise” is a collection of abstract mixed media paintings inspired by the beauty and resilience of Forsythia blossoms – one of the first signs of the end of Winter and the promise of expanding light. These simple yet dramatic compositions with energetic gestural lines, luscious textural surfaces, and soft, glowing glazes of cheerful yellows express a peaceful optimism, the warm glow of new beginnings, and the hope of many good things to come.
